Where I can go for social dancing In Long Beach or Orange county?

Updated: Sep 19, 2023

My students have asked for this section, so here is a list of places and events where you can practice salsa, Bachata, cumbia, and reggaeton if you're lucky. I've included the most popular ones in Orange County and Long Beach, but if you know of any others, please share in the comments below. Your input is greatly appreciated, so let's spread the word and help others find great places to dance.

Please note that the places or events mentioned are not sponsoring me, and I cannot be held responsible for any of the events. Nonetheless, I have provided a link for you to check out at your convenience.

1. Café Sevilla on Costa Mesa, you don't need to reserve a table. Pay for the cover, which costs $15, including the class. Locate: 1870 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92627

-On Wednesdays: Salsa & Bachata Nights Social dancing from 9 pm - 1.30 am

-On Sunday: Bachata Day Party social dancing 5 pm - 12:00 am

The Café Sevilla in Long Beach does not have a specific Latino night, but they do offer Sevilla Thursdays with a mix of Reggaeton and Hip Hop music, and occasionally salsa and Bachata. This is why it's included in the list of recommended places. You can find the café at 140 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA.

2. Thursday for Golden Rose, an exciting event featuring social dancing at Golden Roses International Cuisine. The dance starts at 9:30 pm and lasts until closing time.
